These firearms are intended for law enforcement training at MCC Blue River Public Safety Institute. The acquisition ensures recruits receive training on the same weapon platform and optics technology they will use upon graduation and assignment to their agencies. Approximately 97 percent of recruits are sponsored by agencies issuing or transitioning to the Glock 45 platform with duty-rated pistol optics, including the Aimpoint COA system.
