NASA Glenn Research Center is seeking to procure specialized Vector Network Analyzers and related calibration and support services. - Sole source procurement to Copper Mountain Technologies LLC - Required equipment: - 2 S5180B Vector Network Analyzers (100 kHz to 18 GHz, 2-port, 2-path) - VNA software for Windows (included), optional Linux software (no extra cost) - 2 ISO17025/Z540-1 accredited calibrations (18-22 GHz) - 1 ACM2202 Automatic Calibration Module (Nfemale to N-female, 3.5mm and N connectors) - 1 calibration certificate (accredited, traceable) - 1 Crown Customer Service Package (technical support) - Performance location: NASA Glenn Research Center - NAICS code: 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) - Contract period: 8 weeks after receipt of order - NASA is requesting capability statements from other vendors to assess competition, but is not accepting quotes at this time - Copper Mountain Technologies LLC is identified as the sole provider for these requirements

Synopsis:

VENDORS MUST REFERENCE THE NOTICE ID WHEN SUBMITTING A CAPABILITY STATEMENT.

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for VECTOR NETWORK ANALYZERS. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to COPPER MOUNTAIN TECHNOLOGIES LLC: 631 E NEW YORK ST | INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA 46202 under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that COPPER MOUNTAIN TECHNOLOGIES LLC is the sole provider of VECTOR NETWORK ANALYZERS

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Glenn Research Center (GRC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 9/9/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

NOTE:  Quotes received in response to this notice will NOT be considered and will not be evaluated by NASA’s Technical End User Team. We are currently only requesting Capability Statements.
