Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has submitted a request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval of a new information collection related to the Accelerated Implementation and Deployment of Advanced Digital Construction Management Systems (ADCMS). The program aims to promote and support the use of advanced digital construction management systems to improve productivity, reduce project delays and costs, and enhance safety and environmental benefits. The FHWA plans to provide competitive grants totaling up to $34 million for fiscal year 2026 to eligible entities including State Departments of Transportation, local agencies, tribes, and private industry. Approximately 35 applicants are expected to apply, with an estimated average burden of 132 hours per application and a total of 4,620 annual burden hours. Public comments on the information collection are invited by October 5, 2026.
