Description
This action proposes to establish new Class E airspace over Hardy, VA to support Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations. The new airspace will utilize Special Instrument Approach Procedures (SIAPs) serving Carilion Westlake Center Heliport. The airspace will extend upward from 700 feet above the surface within a 6-mile radius of the heliport. Comments on this proposal are due by October 19, 2026.
