Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange) is seeking a qualified prime Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consultant for Phase I of its Facilities Master Plan, covering major improvements at the Middletown and Newburgh campuses. - Government Buyer: - Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange), Facility Projects division and Purchasing Department - Scope of Services: - Comprehensive A/E services for planning, programming, design, bidding, construction administration, project controls, phasing, swing-space, and closeout - Covers renovations, relocations, and infrastructure improvements across multiple buildings: - Harriman Hall (relocation of Computer Science and Technology) - Hudson Hall (relocation of Education and Criminal Justice) - Bio-Tech Building (modernization of Nursing and Dental Hygiene) - Newburgh Tower Building (expansion of SUNY Orange Plus) - Campus-wide site improvements - Optional/additional services to be separately priced: - Specialty surveys, hazardous-material testing, commissioning, move management, sustainability certification - Notable Requirements: - Multidisciplinary A/E team (structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, technology, specialty disciplines) - Compliance with Orange County's Pay-to-Play law - MWBE (15% MBE, 15% WBE), SDVOB (6%), and DBE (30%) participation goals - Open to new vendors; past vendors listed for reference - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are named; focus is on professional services - Estimated contract value for Phase I is approximately $59.9 million - Period of performance is approximately three to four years, covering all project phases from validation through closeout

Description

SUNY Orange seeks to retain a qualified prime Architectural/Engineering consultant to validate Phase I of its Facilities Master Plan. The consultant will provide coordinated planning, programming, design, bidding, construction administration, design-related project controls, phasing, swing-space, and closeout services. The work covers improvements at the Middletown and Newburgh campuses of Orange County Community College. The contract term is from 2026 to 2029.
