The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking information from vendors for a statewide Electronic Dental Record (EDR) Cloud Solution to modernize dental record-keeping and clinic operations. - Government Buyer: - New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) - Contract Management Unit - Products/Services Requested: - Electronic Dental Record (EDR) Cloud Solution - Must integrate with OPWDD's Electronic Health Record (Cx360) and Carestream Imaging equipment - Support for scheduling, documentation, imaging, billing, e-prescribing, and quality assurance reporting - Designed for 900-1500 individuals monthly, maintaining records for approximately 3,000 unique individuals - At least 75 concurrent users supported - Training and Support Services - Comprehensive training for dental staff (dentists, hygienists, assistants) via on-site and remote sessions - Ongoing access to training materials and recordings - Technical support during clinic hours (7:00 am - 6:00 pm EST, Monday-Saturday) and off-hours emergency support - Solution updates, bug fixes, and new feature releases - Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning - Annual submission of business continuity and disaster recovery plans - Backup processing, disaster recovery testing, and geographic redundancy - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Solution must be cloud-based and proven (not custom-developed for this RFI) - Data storage must be within the contiguous United States - Preference for FedRAMP certification - Compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and New York State privacy and security regulations - Respondents must have at least three current installations serving 10,000 individuals each - Must provide cost proposal and workplan - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; only proven solutions are sought for information gathering.

Description

The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gather information on Electronic Dental Record Solutions that could upgrade their current dental service systems. The RFI seeks entities with proven success in cloud-based dental practice record-keeping solutions, capable of maintaining records for approximately 3,000 unique individuals and having at least three current installations serving 10,000 individuals each. The solution must comply with various state and federal privacy laws, integrate with OPWDD's existing Electronic Health Record and imaging equipment, and provide functionalities such as scheduling, billing, e-prescribing, and quality assurance reporting.
