NYSERDA seeks to develop a new modeling toolkit to evaluate potential carbon pricing mechanisms, such as an economy-wide cap-and-invest program or carbon fee for New York State. This open-source model would inform future carbon pricing policy and program decisions and provide inputs for separate secondary analyses, including air quality, jobs, household costs, and electricity sector modeling. The solicitation is for consulting and other services in administrative, environmental, information technology, and utilities and green energies categories.
