Description
The Local Government is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to provide managed battery supply and lifecycle services for its municipal fleet and related equipment. The successful proponent will establish and administer a managed battery program that includes battery supply, inventory management, warranty administration, core recovery, recycling, reporting, and related support services. The Local Government is open to either a consignment inventory model or a vendor-managed inventory model and will consider the overall suitability, efficiency, and value of each proponent's proposed approach. The resulting agreement aims to provide Fleet Services with reliable access to required batteries while reducing administrative and operational efforts related to inventory monitoring, ordering, warranty processing, core management, and recycling activities.
