The Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), and the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) at Maxwell Air Force Base are seeking a contractor to deliver American Heart Association (AHA) certified CPR and AED training services. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force - Air Education and Training Command (AETC) - Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) - 42nd Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL - OEMs and Vendors: - American Heart Association (AHA) (as certifying body for instructors and training) - Products/Services Requested: - American Heart Association certified CPR and AED training classes - Nine classes per fiscal year - Up to 50 students per class - Each class up to two hours in duration - Training delivered at Maxwell AFB or Gunter Annex, Alabama - No travel required for contract employees; government provides facility and A/V support - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Instructors must hold current AHA certification - Training must include video presentation - Focus is on AFROTC Detachment Commanders and staff preparedness for cadet physical distress - Multi-year contract with base year and up to four option years - No physical products or equipment procurement; strictly training services

Description

This is a non-personal services contract to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) training. This effort provides mandatory CPR and AED training to AFROTC Detachment Commanders and their staff. The purpose of this training is to ensure AFROTC Cadre are prepared to render rapid response to physical distress of their cadets and ensure their safety.
