This opportunity is for carpet removal and installation services at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, managed by the U.S. Army Support Activity. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Support Activity, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Building 145 - 502d Contracting Squadron (502 CONS/PKDB), JBSA Randolph, TX - OEMs and Vendors: - Mohawk Group (OEM for carpet tile, SwitchCode Umpteen BT594) - Equivalent commercial carpet tile manufacturers may be accepted - Products/Services Requested: - Removal of old carpet and installation of new commercial carpet tile (Mohawk Group SwitchCode Umpteen BT594 or equivalent) - Approximately 5,800 square feet - Preferred color: CHARLIE - Manufacturer technical data sheets and warranty certifications required for 'or equal' products - Replacement of cove base/baseboards (standard 4-inch rubber/vinyl, matching carpet color) - Moving, lifting, disassembling, and reassembling 11 cubicle workstations and one larger office area - Subfloor preparation (adhesive removal, minor patching) - Removal and off-site disposal of old carpet and construction debris - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, safety equipment, and coordinate site access and dumpster placement - Minimum warranties: 1 year on installation, 5 years on materials - Work to be performed during normal duty hours; phased completion by floor is acceptable - Government personnel will handle IT disconnects and equipment relocation - Offerors must submit manufacturer technical data sheets and warranty certifications for any 'or equal' carpet tile - Compliance with security and base entry requirements - Final inspection and acceptance required prior to invoicing

Description

AMENDMENT 03 September 2026: The purpose of this amendment is to include additional attachments to the request for quote for quoting purposes and to revise the RFQ # stated in 52.212-1(b). Please refer to the amendment 0001 for more details. 

All interested offerors that provide a quote must acknowledge all amendments by signing each amendment and include with the quote. When emailing responses, please site, "Carpet removal and installation RFQ#: FA301626Q0237" in the subject line.
