The U.S. Coast Guard Sector San Diego is seeking a contractor for the complete renovation of two UPH bathrooms at Building C-2. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Sector San Diego - Scope of Work: - Demolition of existing flooring, plumbing fixtures (toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, valves, flushometers), and bathroom fixtures (partitions, shower pans, mirrors, dispensers) - Installation of approximately 240 sq. ft. of heavy-duty waterproof vinyl flooring - Furnishing and installing all new plumbing and bathroom fixtures - Reconnection of utilities, functional and leak testing, and final site cleanup - Hazardous Material Requirements: - Lead-safe demolition, containment, monitoring, and waste characterization/disposal - Strict asbestos and lead safety protocols; non-disturbance of wall ACM - Personnel and Compliance: - Licensed professionals required for plumbing, electrical, tile-setting, and mechanical work - Compliance with Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements for San Diego County - Adherence to federal and state hazardous material handling regulations - No specific OEMs, brands, part numbers, or product quantities are mentioned - All materials must be standard commercial grade

PROJECT & ACQUISITION DETAILS

Location: USCG Sector San Diego, Building C-2, San Diego, CA Scope: Complete renovation of two (2) UPH bathrooms (approx. 120 sq. ft. each). Labor Standard: Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) Prevailing Wage Requirements (San Diego County, CA) Material Standard: Standard Commercial Grade

Hazardous Material Policy: Non-disturbance of wall ACM; Lead-safe work practices and waste characterization for tile demolition required.

WBS Element - Scope Description

1.0 Demolition & HAZMAT

Lead-safe demo of flooring, fixtures, and partitions in 2 bathrooms. Includes containment, monitoring, and specialized waste characterization/disposal.

2.0 Flooring

Furnish and install approx. 240 sq. ft. of new heavy-duty waterproof vinyl flooring.

3.0 Plumbing (New)

Furnish and install all new toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, valves, and flushometers for two bathrooms.

4.0 Fixtures (New)

Furnish and install new toilet partitions, shower pans, mirrors, and dispensers for two bathrooms.

5.0 Testing & Closeout

Reconnect all utilities, perform full functional and leak testing with unit POC, and conduct final site cleanup.
