The Defense Logistics Agency Maritime - Puget Sound and the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard are seeking a turnkey procurement of a horizontal, hard bearing balancing machine for industrial use. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency Maritime - Puget Sound Contracting Division (DLA-PME) - Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) - OEMs and Vendors: - Schenck USA (OEM for HM40BU balancing machine) - Products Requested: - One (1) Balancing Machine, Horizontal, Hard Bearing, Schenck USA HM40BU or equivalent - Includes machine bed, hard bearing supports, belt drive (5-10HP AC motor), photoelectric scanning head, electronic protractor, axial thrust stops, enclosure (Class C or Schenck C600), control cabinet, measuring instrumentation (Schenck CAB 820 or equivalent), printer documentation system - Part number: HM40BU or equivalent - Services Requested: - Turnkey installation (foundation demolition, new foundation construction, equipment placement, anchoring, leveling, grouting, electrical/compressed air hookup, grounding, commissioning) - Training for operators and maintenance personnel (hands-on, provided by OEM or authorized rep) - Warranty (minimum 2 years on parts and labor) - Technical data and manuals (O&M manuals, certification reports, acceptance test reports, site preparation/installation plans, warranty performance reports) - NRTL field evaluation and Item Unique Identification (IUID) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must comply with OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and other safety/environmental standards - Turnkey delivery includes demolition and construction of foundation, installation, and commissioning - All deliverables (technical manuals, certification, warranty reports) are one-time submissions - Warranty coverage starts after contract line items are processed - Compliance with NIST SP 800-171 required unless item is COTS - Distribution of technical data limited to DoD and contractors - Acceptance tied to Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) submissions - Delivery and acceptance at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA - All items due by contract completion date; no option years or subscription periods

If choosing to quote, please complete and return the solicitation packet to me by the closing date to be considered.
IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED RESPONSIVE, THE SOLICITATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Fill out box 17A, then Read box 28 and sign page 1 boxes 30 a, b, and c.
2. Provide your cage code.
3. Please quote FOB Destination Bremerton, WA.
4. Annotate the lead time.
5. Annotate the name of the manufacturer, and the products country of manufacturing.
6. Return this information with your quote.
In order to be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)
Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement. Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
