Description

Carteret County Government is seeking competitive bids to replace and install new equipment to the existing HVAC system serving Superior Courtroom 1 on the second floor of the Courthouse located at 302 Courthouse Square, Beaufort, NC 28516. The work includes removal and replacement of existing water source heat pumps, installation of new equipment, providing test and balance reports, and replacing plywood on the attic platform. Alternate bids are requested for additional work such as replacing heat pumps with split system heat pumps and dehumidifiers, spray foam insulation on the roof structure, reinstallation of lay-in ceilings, adding batt insulation on second-floor ceilings, cleaning existing ductwork, and controls integration.
