The City of Regina is seeking proposals for Dispatch and Trucking Services to support multiple municipal departments. - Government Buyer: - City of Regina Procurement Branch - Contact: Thomas Dang, Senior Purchasing Agent - Scope of Services: - Provision of tandem axle dump trucks, semi-trailer trucks, and loaders with qualified operators - Transportation of granular and aggregate materials including dirt, gravel, concrete, slag, construction rubble, waste materials, hot asphalt, cold planings, and snow - Services required year-round, with seasonal variations (e.g., winter snow hauling, spring sweep programs) - Dispatch operations for vehicles and operators - Product/Service Line Items: - Up to 29 tandem trucks and 14 semi-trailers required - Guaranteed minimum of 13,000 service hours annually (11,000 tandem hours, 2,000 semi-trailer hours) - Loader services included - Hourly rates for weekdays, weekends, and statutory holidays - Technical and Notable Requirements: - Vehicles must meet minimum capacity, safety standards, and equipment features (GPS, spill kits, snow sides) - Compliance with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Act and National Safety Code - Indigenous participation and environmental sustainability emphasized - Liquidated damages for non-performance - Only one supplier will be selected - Contract Details: - Three-year base term with two optional one-year extensions - Annual CPI and monthly fuel price adjustments to hourly rates - Services cover Roadways and Transportation, Water, Waste & Environment, and other city departments

Description

The City of Regina is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced entities for trucking and dispatching services. The services require tandem axle dump trucks and truck/semi-trailer combinations with qualified operators to transport granular and aggregate materials such as dirt, gravel, concrete, slag, construction rubble, waste materials, hot asphalt, cold planings, and snow to and from various locations in the city and its outskirts. The City intends to enter into an agreement with one legal entity for a term of three years, with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods. Dispatch services for the vehicles and operators are also included in the scope of work.
