The National Institutes of Health, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is seeking engineering and prototype fabrication services for the MIRTH implant system, a catheter-based ventricular remodeling device for cardiovascular intervention research. - Government Buyer: - National Institutes of Health (NIH) - National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) - Division of Intramural Research, Laboratory of Cardiovascular Intervention - OEMs and Vendors: - Resonetics, LLC is named as the sole source vendor for design support and prototype fabrication - Products/Services Requested: - Engineering and prototype fabrication services for the MIRTH implant system - Fabrication of implant concepts, tensioning and locking mechanisms, and delivery/deployment prototypes - Integrated functional system prototypes for non-GLP in vivo evaluation (approximately 6-10 full systems anticipated) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Specialized engineering continuity and proprietary data held by Resonetics - Excludes regulatory submissions and clinical-grade manufacturing - Focus on feasibility, delivery, and integrated system prototyping for research purposes
