Description

The Ministry of Forests – Northeast Region is seeking proposals from qualified environmental consulting and agrology service providers to support range health and ecological monitoring across the Northeast Region. The project supports consultation and decision-making regarding Crown grazing and Treaty 8 rights, with monitoring results informing Range Use Plans, range developments, and tenure management. Services include desktop planning and mapping, field-based monitoring, infrastructure inventory and digitization, forage supply assessments, range health reports, efficacy assessments, and development of stewardship strategies. Contract deliverables must meet ecological monitoring standards and include professional recommendations, with at least one registered Professional Agrologist and Biologist required. Off-road access capability is also required.
