Columbia County Board of County Commissioners is inviting bids for the 2025-2026 Annual Resurfacing Project at Picadilly Park (South) in Lake City, Florida. - Government Buyer: - Columbia County Board of County Commissioners, County Manager's Office - Scope of Work: - Milling and resurfacing approximately 3,095 linear feet (0.47 miles) of roadway - Milling existing pavement (7,950 SY at 1.0–2.0 inches depth) - Placement of new asphalt pavement at 165 lbs/sy - Leveling and resurfacing approximately 12,485 linear feet (2.36 miles) of roadway - Asphaltic concrete leveling (1,390 tons at 82.5 lbs/sy) - Asphaltic concrete SP 12.5 (3,400 tons at 137.5 lbs/sy for leveling/resurfacing and 165 lbs/sy for mill/resurfacing) - Includes approximately 200 feet of asphalt curb and aprons at driveways - Additional work includes: - Mobilization and maintenance of traffic per FDOT standards - Borrow (500 CY) for shoulder finishing and other uses - Grassing (seed and mulch), sod (9,850 SY with fertilizer and irrigation), and painted pavement markings (double yellow lines, stop bars, centerline, edgeline striping) - Installation of 2 asphalt speed humps - Incidental items as directed by the engineer - Unique Requirements: - Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond - Performance bond and proof of liability insurance required before work begins - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; standard FDOT materials and methods apply - The county may adjust contract scope to fit available funding and reserves the right to reject any or all bids
