Description

The United States International Trade Commission has determined that revocation of the countervailing duty order on silicon metal from Kazakhstan and antidumping duty orders on silicon metal from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, and Malaysia would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to a U.S. industry within a reasonably foreseeable time. These determinations were made pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 following expedited five-year reviews. The Commission completed and filed its determinations on August 31, 2026, and the views are contained in USITC Publication 5785 (August 2026).
