Description

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has submitted a request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval to continue using three currently approved information collections. These collections include requests for permission to film, photograph, or videotape at NARA facilities for news purposes; requests to use NARA facilities for events in the Washington, DC area, Federal records centers, or Presidential libraries; and requests to be placed on a list of independent researchers who perform freelance research for hire in the Washington, DC area. The agency invites public comments on these proposed information collections, with comments due by October 5, 2026.
