Description

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) are jointly extending the compliance date for amendments to Form PF from October 1, 2026, to July 1, 2027. Form PF is a confidential reporting form used by certain SEC-registered investment advisers to private funds, including those registered with the CFTC as commodity pool operators or commodity trading advisers. This extension provides additional time for affected entities to comply with the amended reporting requirements. The rule aims to reduce reporting burdens while ensuring the collection of necessary information for regulatory oversight and investor protection.
