Description

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus SAS Model A350-1041 airplanes. This AD was prompted by the detection of missing chamfers under the heads of critical fasteners on the primary structure of both pylons. The AD requires an inspection of the fasteners in the affected areas and corrective actions if necessary. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. The AD is effective September 18, 2026, and comments are due by October 20, 2026.
