District-Wide Pressure Washing Services for DeKalb County School District Facilities

DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is seeking qualified contractors to provide district-wide pressure washing services for 138 schools and facilities. - Government Buyer: - DeKalb County School District (DCSD), Procurement/Vendor Services Department - Key contact: Tijauna Naylor Smith (Purchasing Department) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or named vendors are specified; contractors must supply all necessary equipment and materials. - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive pressure washing of flatwork (sidewalks, curbs), building exteriors (up to and above 7 stories), walls, doors, windows, and gutters - Gutter cleanout and streak-free window squeegeeing as incidental tasks - All labor, materials, equipment (including aerial lifts for work above 7 feet), and environmentally safe chemicals must be provided by the contractor - Pricing is per square foot for flatwork and exteriors; additional equipment rental and hourly labor rates for extra work - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Services performed on an as-needed basis via individual task orders; no guaranteed minimum volume - Multiple awards may be made - Contractors must comply with all safety (OSHA), environmental, and local regulations - Mandatory insurance (workers compensation, commercial auto, umbrella/excess liability, professional liability) - Background checks and compliance with immigration laws required - Contractors must provide their own water access permits and equipment, including lifts for high work and for soft terrain or restricted access - Work is typically scheduled for weekends, holidays, and school breaks to minimize disruption - All costs (labor, materials, equipment, chemicals, insurance, travel, administrative) must be included in unit pricing

Description

The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is seeking bids from qualified bidders with professional qualifications and specialized experience to provide District Wide Pressure Washing Contractor Services. The scope of work is outlined in Part III of the ITB. The contract involves providing pressure washing services across the district on an as-needed basis through individual task orders during the contract term.
