The facility must accommodate CFS operations including child protective services investigations, family visitation and supervised contact rooms, social worker offices, client interview rooms, reception and waiting areas, conference and training rooms, secure file and records storage, and administrative support areas. The proposed facility should be located within the City of San Bernardino or surrounding communities and provide a safe, welcoming, and professional environment. The lease term is expected to be a minimum of ten years and a maximum of twenty years, with options to extend subject to mutual agreement and Board approval.
