Description

The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board propose to adopt regulation changes in 8 AAC 45 dealing with Board procedures. The changes include clarifications and standardizations of filing methods, updates to forms, fee clarifications, case file procedures, party joinder and consolidation procedures, pleading and discovery requirements, hearing scheduling and venue rules, evidentiary standards, attorney fee application standards, and repeal of obsolete regulations. Public comments are invited by October 9, 2026, with a public hearing scheduled for October 15, 2026, in Anchorage and virtually via Zoom.
