The USDA Forest Service, Intermountain Region, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, is seeking crushed aggregate stockpile for road maintenance in the Lakeside and Black Mesa districts. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Intermountain Region, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests - Office: Lakeside and Black Mesa Districts - Products Requested: - Crushed rock surface aggregate (1" minus), produced to Table 703-3, Gradation G specifications - Base quantity: 2,950 tons - Option quantity: up to 2,000 additional tons (if funding is available) - Storage & Location Requirements: - Aggregate must be stockpiled at contractor's designated pit location - Pit must be within 35 miles of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests boundary - Transportation: - No hauling or delivery required; government will handle transportation - Unique Requirements: - Aggregate must meet specific gradation and quality standards (Table 703-3, Gradation G) - Only Region 3 Forest Engineering & Roads Maintenance Blanket Purchase Agreement (FERM BPA) contractors in Arizona are eligible - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified contractors with access to compliant aggregate pits

Description

This opportunity is ONLY available to the Region 3 Forest Engineering & Roads Maintenance Blanket Purchase Agreement (FERM BPA) contractors in Arizona for the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. 

The purpose of this project is to supply approximately 2950 Tons of crushed aggregate stockpile. This solicitation does not include hauling or delivery of aggregate. This solicitation is intended to provide the Government with access (through task orders) to stockpiles of aggregate, as described herein, stored at the awarded contractor’s designated pit location. Due to the government supplying the hauling mechanism for the aggregate, the locations of designated pits shall not be more than 35 miles from the boundary of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, specifically the Lakeside and Black Mesa Districts.
