This notice announces a sole source extension for warehousing and distribution services in Djibouti, Africa, supporting US Africa Command (AFRICOM) customers. - DLA Distribution intends to modify Task Order SP330025F5022 under Contract SP330021D5005. - Services include: - Receipt, storage (inventory and stock readiness), and issue functions for local customers - Cross-docking and transshipment operations - The period of performance will be extended by six months. - Only TECHNICA, LLC is considered capable of providing these services at this time due to operational requirements. - A follow-on procurement is planned for future competition. - No products, part numbers, or purchase quantities are specified. - This is not a solicitation for proposals or bids. - The Justification and Approval document will be posted to SAM.gov once executed.

Description

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 RFO 6.103-1, the Defense Logistics Agency DLA anticipates awarding a modification to existing DLA Distribution Contract SP330021D5005 Task Order SP330025F5022 on a sole source basis to TECHNICA, LLC. This Task Order provides receipt, storage (to include inventory and stock readiness functions), and issue functions for local customers and cross-docking and/or transshipment operations utilized in support of US Africa Command AFRICOM customers. The modification will extend Task Order SP330025F5022 period of performance six (6) months from 1 October 2026 through 31 March 2027. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1 RFO 6.103-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements), only TECHNICA, LLC is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and would preclude DLA from reacting timely to requirements. The modification to Task Order SP330025F5022 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements. A follow-on procurement is in process. A Justification and Approval document supporting this modification will be posted to SAM.gov as part of this notice once executed. This is not a solicitation for proposals or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice of a non-competitive action.
