SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a qualified vendor to support its emergency preparedness program at the Brooklyn, NY campus. - Scope of Work: - Furnish and install wall-mounted hooks and steel brackets for Med Sled patient evacuation equipment across multiple floors and stairwells - Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and technical expertise required for installation - Coordinate with the Department of Emergency Preparedness, Facilities Management & Development (FM&D), Hospital Finance, and other relevant departments - Field-verify all installation locations prior to fabrication and installation - Ensure all work complies with New York State regulations, hospital policies, and safety requirements - Products/Equipment: - Med Sled wall-mounted hooks (for staging and storing evacuation equipment) - Med Sled wall-mounted steel brackets (part number: MS-WB3BLOCK-IS(8-13-19)), including anchor bolts - OEM Highlight: - Med Sled system and mounting hardware are manufactured by Ethos Evacuation Strategies, LLC (OEM specified) - Requirements: - All work must be performed by qualified personnel according to the manufacturer's instructions - Project is funded by Emergency Preparedness Grant Funds and must be completed within a time-sensitive window due to internal resource constraints
