The Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife is seeking bids for its Trout Stocking Program to supply and deliver various sizes and species of trout for pond and stream stockings throughout the state. - Government Buyer: - Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, Division of Fish and Wildlife - Products/Services Requested: - Rainbow Trout (10-12 inches): - 657 lbs for pond stocking (spring) - 6,900 lbs for stream stocking (spring) - 500 lbs for stream stocking (fall) - Rainbow Trout (14-17 inches): - 627 lbs for pond stocking (spring) - 7,720 lbs for stream stocking (spring) - 470 lbs for stream stocking (fall) - Trophy Rainbow Trout (3+ lbs each): - 30 lbs for pond stocking (spring) - 210 lbs for stream stocking (spring) - 210 lbs for stream stocking (fall) - Brown Trout (11-13 inches): - 1,470 lbs for stream stocking (spring) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendors must comply with fish health certifications, state licensing, and reporting requirements - Multiple scheduled deliveries in spring and fall to specified locations - Quantities are specified in pounds per stocking event - Contract includes an initial one-year term with up to three optional one-year extensions - No specific OEMs or proprietary vendors are named; open to qualified fish suppliers
