Return is defined as physical receipt of the asset at the contractor's facility as reflected in the Action Date in the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system. The contractor must report all transactions by the end of the fifth business day after receipt, and the Action Date must reflect the actual physical receipt date. The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the Government within the RTAT. The required RTAT is ____ days after receipt of asset. The contractor must provide a throughput constraint for each NSN, indicating the total assets to be repaired monthly after initial delivery. The induction expiration date is 365 days after contract award. Assets received after this date are not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement. All contractual documents are considered issued when deposited in mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent electronically. Acceptance of the proposal constitutes bilateral agreement to issue these documents. Early and incremental deliveries are accepted. 1. Scope Markings shall comply with MIL-STD-130. Articles shall be repaired, tested, and inspected per the terms in this document. Unless specified elsewhere, equipment such as fixtures, jigs, dies, patterns, and test equipment are the contractor's responsibility, not provided by the Government. The use of MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited; SAE-AS22759 series wire shall be used instead. Questions should be directed to the Procuring Contracting Officer. If MIL-STD-454 is referenced, compliance with IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C is expected, and personnel must be trained and certified accordingly. 2. Applicable Documents - Not Applicable 3. Requirements 3.1 General This Statement of Work (SOW) establishes repair and testing/inspection criteria, including procedures to return units to a serviceable condition. 3.2 Definitions Contractor: The successful offeror awarded a contract, order, or project work order. Overhaul: Disassembled, cleaned, inspected, repaired, reassembled, tested, and returned to a Ready for Issue (RFI) condition. Repair: Restored to RFI condition by replacing or repairing defective components and tested per the repair manual. 3.3 Scope The items shall be overhauled, upgraded, repaired, tested, inspected, and accepted per the contract terms. Equipment such as fixtures and test equipment are the contractor's responsibility unless specified otherwise. The contractor shall provide necessary facilities, labor, materials, parts, and test equipment to return items to RFI condition, including specific items like TRIPOD, DISPL MOUNT, P/N 7RH 1680 016486254 V2, NSN, and others, repaired per technical drawings and specifications. RFI is defined as the condition allowing proper and reliable operation in an operational environment. Repairs must be performed at the designated facility, following the specified drawings and repair manuals.
