Description

The Government of Canada, through Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), is soliciting proposals for the design, installation, maintenance, and support of electronic security systems. The contract aims to strengthen the physical security posture of NRCan facilities by improving access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection capabilities across multiple locations nationwide. The existing system includes approximately 500 card readers and 500 cameras monitored through the NRCan Security Operations Control Centre in Ottawa. The contract duration is 10 months, starting from October 23, 2026, and the procurement method is competitive open bidding.
