Description

*** ONLY SEAPORT-NxG MAC HOLDERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO RESPOND TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. SUBMISSIONS FROM NON-SEAPORT-NxG HOLDERS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. *** This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for engineering and technical services to support the development of advanced air vehicle technologies, primarily through the use of modeling and simulation. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Air Systems Group, Air Vehicle Engineering Department (AB20000) mission requires specialized engineering / technical services in support of the development and operation of state-of-the-art air vehicle dynamic simulations and architecture, collision avoidance systems algorithm design, air vehicle engineering design and analysis, systems engineering, logistics, and systems acquisition. These services are required to support current and future piloted and desktop engineering simulation capabilities, aircraft trainer devices, avionics and flight control systems design, development, and prototyping, aircraft structures, propulsion, system safety, and Department of War (DoW) manned aircraft and Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs) in-service and acquisition programs. These efforts pertain to flight vehicle models and simulations, flight control systems, engine control systems, collision avoidance systems, flight test data analysis, and related engineering support. This will be a hybrid type contract. Specific requirements will be derived from the scope of this SOW and documented through individual Task Orders (TOs). TOs are expected to be a mix of cost-plus fixed fee and firm fixed price. Orders may be issued as either non-performance-based level of effort (Term) or performance-based Completion type.
