The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Quality Assurance (DQA) is seeking proposals for a Nurse Aide Registry and Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program. The program will comply with federal regulations (42 CFR 483.150 - CFR 483.160) and Wisconsin state standards (Wis. Stat. Ch. 146 and Wis. Admin. Code DHS 129). The DQA is responsible for regulating and reviewing Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Programs to ensure they meet federal and state standards, including approving training curricula, overseeing competency testing, and maintaining the Nurse Aide Registry. The registry identifies candidates eligible or ineligible to work in federally certified or state licensed health care facilities.
