This Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) aims to establish a list of General Contractors eligible to submit competitive tenders for the construction of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Medical Surgical Inpatient Unit Renovations at 2166 Mt. Newton Cross Road, Saanichton, BC. The project involves a multi-phased renovation within an existing, fully operational acute-care hospital. The successful contractor must coordinate and execute the work while maintaining hospital operations, patient and staff access, infection control, life-safety systems, critical building services, and clinical circulation. Only contractors pre-qualified through this RFPQ will be invited to participate in the subsequent Request for Tender (RFT). Design work is being completed by Island Health's consultant team, with construction drawings and specifications to be included in the RFT.
