ANSYS GRANTA MI LICENSES
This is a solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in RFO Subpart 12.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued.

The Materials Science and Engineering Division (MSED) of the Material Measurement Laboratory (MML) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) performs leading-edge measurement science research, working closely with stakeholders to impact a broad range of science and technology areas. MSED's core areas of competence are grounded in the discipline of materials science and engineering (structure-property-processing relationships) with specific focus on metallurgy, polymer science, and functional materials.
This request supports the NIST Center for Automotive Lightweighting (NCAL) within MSED. NCAL’s objective is to develop the measurement methodology, standards, and analysis necessary for the U.S. auto industry and base metal suppliers to transition to advanced lightweight materials for auto body components. ANSYS Granta MI is the specialized database system used to host NCAL’s highly instrumented experimental and modeling data, linking fabrication, dimensional measurement, and mechanical test data in a secure, central environment.
Responsible Offeror’s shall provide for the following brand name licenses.
