Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest from qualified physicians for the position of ED Physician Lead, Emergency Services. This role supports hospitals across Ontario in improving emergency department performance, patient flow, access to care, and overall system effectiveness through evidence-based improvement methodologies and clinical leadership. The ED Physician Lead will provide clinical advice, physician perspective, and peer-to-peer engagement to hospitals, ensuring program recommendations are clinically credible and operationally practical. The position requires collaboration with local ED chiefs, physician leaders, nursing leaders, and operational teams to identify opportunities for improvement and support physician engagement.
