NASA Glenn Research Center is seeking to procure three high-performance engineering workstations for Distributed Electric Propulsion R&D. - Sole source procurement is intended for Puget Systems, due to compatibility with existing NASA systems. - Workstations must meet detailed technical specifications: - Intel Core Ultra 7 270K 3.7 GHz 24-core processor - NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition 96 GB GPU - 256 GB DDR5 memory (4x64GB) - ASUS ProArt Z890-Creator WiFi motherboard - Asetek 624SM2 240mm liquid CPU cooler - 2 TB NVMe PCIe Gen5 M.2 SSD (primary) - 4 TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 M.2 SSD (secondary) - 1300 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply (Super Flower LEADEX VII or equivalent) - Compact tower chassis (Fractal Design Define 7 or equivalent) - Integrated Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, onboard sound - Case fans upgrade kit with PWM ramping - No operating system - Lifetime labor and technical support, 3-year parts warranty - Delivery required within 30 calendar days after order receipt to NASA GRC in Cleveland, OH - NASA requests capability statements from other vendors to assess potential competition, but will not consider quotes at this stage - NAICS code: 334111 (Electronic Computer Manufacturing) - Period of performance: Delivery within 30 days, plus warranty period

P Synopsis:

VENDORS MUST REFERENCE THE NOTICE ID WHEN SUBMITTING A CAPABILITY STATEMENT.

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING WORKSTATIONS. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to PUGENT SYSTEMS under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that PUGENT SYSTEMS is the sole provider of HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING WORKSTATIONS THAT ARE ALREADY IN PLACE AND COMPATIBLE WITH EXISTING SYSTEMS AT NASA CENTERS

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Glenn Research Center (GRC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334111.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 11:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on 9/4/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

NOTE:  Quotes received in response to this notice will NOT be considered and will not be evaluated by NASA’s Technical End User Team. We are currently only requesting Capability Statements.
