Description

This notice of funding opportunity provides funding to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to support the Victim Reunification Travel (VRT) Program. The program assists parents of children kidnapped by a noncustodial parent and taken across international borders with travel to participate in Hague Convention hearings and/or accompany their children back to the United States. Funding is provided under guidelines established by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) to support victims of international parental kidnapping or federal crime victims. The program is authorized under 34 U.S.C. § 20103(c)(1)(B) and 34 U.S.C. § 11293(b).
