Description
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is establishing a new matching program pursuant to the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019. This program involves the computerized comparison of HHS system of records with the Do Not Pay (DNP) Working System administered by Treasury's Bureau of the Fiscal Service. The purpose is to identify and prevent improper payments related to HHS grantees and grant payments and to conduct related recovery activities. The program will be effective from 30 days after publication through September 10, 2029.
