Description

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) issued an incidental take permit (ITP) to Barney Davis, LLC, authorizing the incidental take of threatened green sea turtles and endangered Kemp's ridley sea turtles during lawful activities at the Barney Davis Energy Center in Corpus Christi, TX. Ownership and operational control of the Center were subsequently acquired by CPS Energy. NMFS has transferred the ITP No. 21316 to CPS Energy, effective through August 31, 2030. The permit allows incidental take of the specified sea turtle species under certain conditions associated with the Center's operation.
