Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of the Maumee River within a 100-yard radius of the Toledo Country Club at coordinates 41°35'39.2" N 83°35'47.7" W. This safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with a fireworks display. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Detroit or their designated representative. The rule is effective from 9:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m. on September 4, 2026.
