Description
The Municipality of Skagway is requesting proposals for the position of Borough Assessor for tax years 2027 and 2028, starting January 2027. The Borough Assessor will assess all taxable and non-taxable real property within the Municipality of Skagway and perform duties as prescribed by Skagway Municipal Code 4.10 Real Property Taxation. The services include annual outside inspections of each property, updates to property information using an electronic assessment program, and compatibility with the Municipality's ArcGIS System. Proposers must specify the information provided in each real property assessment file and be familiar with relevant municipal codes.
