Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) is seeking proposals from qualified insurance carriers to provide fully-insured dental and vision plans for its employees across multiple hospitals and entities in New York. - Government Buyer: - Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) - Executive Offices at Taylor Pavilion, Office of Legal Affairs - Network includes Westchester Medical Center, MidHudson Regional Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, and others - OEMs and Vendors: - MetLife is the current carrier - Opportunity is open to all qualified insurance carriers; brokers and consultants are excluded - Products/Services Requested: - Fully-insured dental plan services - Fully-insured vision plan services - Comprehensive coverage including plan setup, data integration, employee communication, training, compliance, account management, claims processing, network management, member support, preventive care programs, and reporting - Notable Requirements: - Proposals must be submitted directly by carriers/vendors (no brokers or consultants) - Guaranteed rates for the full three-year contract term; no loss of benefits for covered individuals - Vendors must confirm ability to begin implementation by October 2025 - Detailed plan design and requirements provided upon submission of confidentiality agreement - Letter of Intent, confidentiality agreement, and completion of questionnaires/census documents required for proposal submission

Description

The WMCHealth Network is issuing a Request for Proposals to invite qualified firms to submit fully-insured quotes for dental and vision plans throughout WMCHealth. The contract term is 12 months with optional 12-month renewals. Proposals must be submitted directly by qualified carriers or vendors; submissions through brokers or consultants will not be accepted. The solicitation covers services in Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties.
