NASA Glenn Research Center is seeking to procure specialized Acumentrics Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and accessories for flight research operations. - Procurement is for two Acumentrics UPS units, part number ANG1501U28.5KPNLIC1 - Each UPS is 1U height, 1250W output, AC/DC input and output, N+1 redundancy, SNMP enabled, LFP battery, weatherproof, certified to MIL-STD and RTCA/DO160G standards - Accessories required: - 2 DC output cables (ANG9004F), 10ft, fungus mitigant - 2 DC input cables (ANG9001F), fungus mitigation with extruded or taped white PTFE - 2 AC output cables (ANG9054F), fungus mitigation with extruded or taped white PTFE - 4 parallel cables (ANG9047C1), fungus mitigation - Intended for use on NASA PC-12 aircraft at Armstrong Flight Research Center - Sole source procurement to Acumentrics, with capability statements requested from other vendors - NAICS code: 335999 - Period of performance is 30 days after receipt of order (ARO) - No service line items specified

Description

 Synopsis:

VENDORS MUST REFERENCE THE NOTICE ID WHEN SUBMITTING A CAPABILITY STATEMENT.

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for ACUMENTRICS UPS. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to ACUMENTRICS under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that ACUMENTRICS is the sole provider of ACUMENTRICS UPS

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Glenn Research Center (GRC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 335999.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on 9/4/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

NOTE:  Quotes received in response to this notice will NOT be considered and will not be evaluated by NASA’s Technical End User Team. We are currently only requesting Capability Statements.
