NOAA NESDIS seeks yearly preventive maintenance and repair services for four Caterpillar (Cat) C32 1000 kW diesel generators supporting critical satellite operations at multiple locations. - Government Buyer: - Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) - Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO), Satellite Operations Control Center (SOCC) - Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Satellite and Information Acquisition Division (SIAD) - OEMs and Vendors: - Caterpillar (Cat) is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) - Contractor must be an authorized Caterpillar Electric Power Generation dealer - Products/Services Requested: - Yearly preventive maintenance and repairs for four Cat C32 1000 kW (60 Hz) diesel generators - Locations: SOCC (Suitland, MD), Wallops Command and Data Acquisition Station (WCDAS, VA), Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS, AK) - Services include both major and minor preventive maintenance inspections, emergency repairs, and use of genuine Caterpillar parts and diagnostic software - All work must be performed by Caterpillar-trained and certified technicians - Emergency repair response required within 4 hours, 24/7 coverage - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Only authorized Caterpillar dealers with certified personnel may perform the work - Use of genuine OEM parts and Caterpillar diagnostic tools is mandatory - Firm-fixed-price for preventive maintenance; time-and-materials (not-to-exceed) for repairs - Estimated base year value: $44,078.61; total contract value likely in the low six figures over five years - Option to extend services for an additional 6 months if needed

Yearly Preventive Maintenance and Repairs, as needed, for Four (4) Cat® C32 1000 kW (60 Hz) Diesel Generators for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) requires Yearly Preventive Maintenance and Repairs, as needed, for Four (4) Cat® C32 1000 kW (60 Hz) Diesel Generators to support the Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO), Satellite Operations Control Center (SOCC) at Suitland, MD, the Command and Data Acquisition Stations (CDAS) at Wallops, VA and Fairbanks, AK to command and control the satellites, to track the satellites, and to acquire their data. The anticipated period of performance consists of one (1), 12-month base period, and one (4) 12-month option periods. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation.
