DLA Maritime - Puget Sound is seeking quotes for a specialized nickel round bar for naval shipyard use. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound Contracting Division, Bremerton, WA - Product Requested: - NICU ROUND, 9IN (Nickel Round Bar, 9 inch x 48 inch, Monel 400, MILSPEC QQ N 281) - Quantity: 1 each - Includes a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for certification data reports on chemical and mechanical properties - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers named; bidders must provide manufacturer information - Notable Requirements: - Delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard within 3 weeks of award - Compliance with MILSPEC QQ N 281 and certification reporting (DI-MISC-82386) - Supply chain traceability and item unique identification required - Set aside for small businesses (HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB) - Electronic quote submission via SAM website - COTS items exempt from NIST SP 800-171 if information is provided - Inspection and acceptance at destination with a 45-day constructive acceptance period

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF QUOTES IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SAM WEBSITE.

To be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
