Description

This solicitation is for the HSIP Cycle 11 Citywide Signal Modernization Project in Palmdale, California. The scope includes providing traffic control, installing 2-inch reflective yellow tape on existing traffic signal head backplates for enhanced visibility, replacing pedestrian push buttons with current standard devices, removing and reinstalling high-visibility continental crosswalks at intersections, replacing identified substandard pedestrian signal heads with the latest models including countdown signals, furnishing and installing all appurtenances, coordinating utilities, and improving striping. The project is in the bidding stage with a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled for September 15, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically by October 13, 2026.
