NASA requests capability statements for sole source 4-quadrant power supply for wind tunnel testing

NASA is conducting market research for a 4-quadrant power supply to support wind tunnel flight testing of the sUAS RAVEN SWFT vehicle at Langley Research Center. - NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) is requesting capability statements from vendors; quotes are not being accepted at this stage. - The primary requirement is a 4-quadrant power supply with: - Minimum output of 60V and 125A - Ability to connect multiple units in parallel for higher current draw - Support for regenerative braking emulation - Accessories such as cable packs and AC plugs are also needed. - NASA intends to procure this as a sole source contract from GMW Associates INC, identified as the sole provider. - The NAICS code for this procurement is 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing). - Installation is scheduled for Q1 of Fiscal Year 2027. - Vendors are encouraged to review the Statement of Work (SOW) for detailed technical requirements and submit capability statements by 9/3/2026.

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for 4-quadrant power supply for wind tunnel flight testing. See the attached SOW and request for capability statements.
