This opportunity involves the rehabilitation and pump replacement for Loeb Well No. 3 in Beaumont, Texas, managed by the City of Beaumont Water Utilities/Administration. - Government Buyer: - City of Beaumont, Water Utilities/Administration, Water Administration office - Scope of Work: - Contractor mobilization and demobilization - Well video inspection and follow-up inspection - Installation and removal of steel tanks and temporary discharge piping - Chlorination of well and acid treatment of well screens - Mechanical cleaning (brush cleaning and agitation) of well screens - Screen and casing repair (up to 5 repairs) - Well and pump performance testing (including step-rate and constant-rate tests) - Supply and installation of steel fabricated/welded discharge head with motor register - Supply and installation of new column assembly (12 x 3-1/2 x 2-3/16, 260 feet pipe, oil tube shaft bearings, stainless steel airline, water level monitoring system) - Supply and installation of new well pumps (18DHC 6-stage oil bowl assembly) in three size scenarios: - 2,500 gpm at 245 feet TDH - 3,000 gpm at 280 feet TDH - 3,500 gpm at 320 feet TDH - Transport and install existing well motor - Re-install existing oil pot assembly - Start-up and purging of well - Well site restoration (land surface and grass) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to provided plans and specifications - All work must be documented and reported as specified - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to qualified contractors - Products/Services Requested: - Steel fabricated discharge head - Column assembly - Well pumps (three capacities) - Performance testing, cleaning, repairs, and restoration - Quantities: - Most items are single units; screen and casing repair allows for up to 5 repairs - No named OEMs; bidders must supply and install equipment meeting specifications - Contingent work includes acid treatment, mechanical cleaning, and repairs as needed
