Kentucky is seeking to establish statewide master contracts for E-rate eligible networking hardware, software, and services for K-12 public school districts. - Government Buyer: - Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance and Administration Cabinet, Office of Procurement Services, on behalf of the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) and Office of Education Technology (OET) - Scope and Coverage: - Up to five Master Agreements for E-rate eligible network hardware and services - Available to 175 public school districts, Kentucky School for the Blind, and Kentucky School for the Deaf - Supports over 1700 school buildings and facilities - Products Requested: - Wired L2 and L3 switches - Routers - Wireless access points - Wireless controllers (physical or virtual) - Basic firewalls - SD-WAN hardware (with MIBS functionality) - Cables, accessories, racks, antennas, connectors - Software licenses (right-to-use, client access) - Services Requested: - Installation and initial configuration - On-site training - Basic maintenance and warranty support - Managed internal broadband services - Advanced services (network access control, management, analytics, professional services, advanced firewall, network monitoring, traffic logging) - Unique Requirements: - E-rate eligibility and compliance with Kentucky's KETS technical standards - Accessibility compliance (Section 508, WCAG 2.0 AA) - OEMs may bid directly; each OEM limited to one bid, with up to three authorized resellers per OEM - Leasing and installment payment options available - Sales reporting, warranty coverage (minimum one year), and updated price lists required - Delivery within 30 days of purchase order receipt - No guaranteed quantities; contracts are for future needs - Notable: No specific OEMs or vendors named; manufacturers and authorized resellers are encouraged to participate.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking state master contract(s) to establish contract pricing for a procurement vehicle for E-rate eligible networking hardware, software, and services. This procurement aims to provide statewide pricing vehicles available to all public K-12 districts in Kentucky, representing over 170 school districts and 1700+ school buildings and non-instructional facilities. The procurement includes options for leasing and installment payment plans. The contract will serve as the standard for procurement of networking equipment and services meeting KETS standards for K-12 public school districts in the Commonwealth.
