The Municipality of Skagway is soliciting proposals for the position of Borough Assessor for tax years 2027 and 2028, starting January 2027. The assessor will be responsible for assessing all taxable and non-taxable real property within the Municipality of Skagway and performing duties as outlined in the Skagway Municipal Code. The scope includes annual assessment services with property inspections, updating property information using an electronic assessment program, compatibility with the Municipality's assessment and ArcGIS systems, and providing valuations in printed and electronic formats.
